Since 2009 I have made many submissions about Vitamin D and health to senior people in the Department of Health and Social Care, including Public Health England, NICE, SACN and many others
This is because I am totally convinced that the hormone called Vitamin D plays an essential part in our health
I organised 3 scientific conferences about Vitamin D in 2011 in the Wellcome Trust conference centre
One of the speakers at all 3 events was Gastro-enterologist Dr David Grimes
He is a great resource and a wonderful source of knowledge and experience, as he probably knows as much as anyone about the public health aspects of Vitamin D
